Turn on every light in the house and replace any old or used bulbs with new ones to give out more light. Arrange viewings with potential purchasers whenever possible during daylight hours.  If this is not an option ensure the property is well lit before viewings take place.

Ah, nothing smells more like autumn than smoke from a wood-burning fireplace or real fire and if you have this facility light the fire and captivate any would-be-buyer with this focal point.  If you only have central heating make sure this is on.  Make sure that your home is warm and welcoming!
