Congratulations!  Moving can be a wonderful time at any stage of life.  This is even more true if you are a First Time Buyer.  I’ve written my ‘First Time Buyer Guide‘ ‘especially for YOU’!

There are many reasons to get excited about becoming a property owner and householder for the first time.  As an estate agent I know how easy it is to underestimate both the emotional impact and the practicalities involved.

That’s why I decided to create a detailed run-through of all the stages you are likely to go through when actually ‘MOVING’ as a First Time Buyer.

You might think possessions will be the easy part.  After all, you stream your music, you keep all your data in the cloud and you haven’t built up years of hand-me-down furniture, yet.  But you WILL be surprised when you start to think about all the things you have built up and need to work out what to do with.

It’s a good thing you haven’t got lots of old rickety tables and chairs handed down through the generations, right? Well, how are you going to furnish your new home and what kind of tricks and tips do you need to know to save money.  More importantly, how will you make your new environment look fantastic at the same time?

Deciding to buy a home for the first time can be the start of years of planning and saving.  Once the time comes to start the process you really need to have all your ducks in a row and know what your ideal outcome will be.

The choices might seem endless at first, but the ‘real world’ will always have some input.  You will make some compromises along the way.

Size, type and location of properties available to you will depend on many different factors.  Each situation is unique to YOU the buyer.  As an estate agent I see it as my job to help you find the perfect solution and then to make the whole process of buying as easy and enjoyable as possible.
