Step Inside

Ideally located in a Salvington,  Worthing crescent, this exceptionally renovated end of terrace house has a surprising amount of space. Thoughtfully updated with new lighting, skirting boards and radiators with Smart electric valves, this is a home that’s ready to move straight into.

A central hallway is immaculately presented behind an enclosed entrance porch.  Its dado rails and two tone walls that continue upstairs give a consistent design theme. To its left a spacious living room of 24’8″ x 10’9″ has a brilliantly sophisticated yet family friendly feel with a dark engineered wood floor and feature flock patterned walls. An accent chimney breast has a wide floating wood mantel above its fireplace and tasteful French doors open into a large modern conservatory currently used as a family-sized dining room.

The impressive kitchen – 17’0″ x 10’11″ – is fully fitted with modern country cabinets, laminated wood countertops and matching kickboards. Its u-shaped layout comes complete with a fitted range extractor and accommodates a freestanding range cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing and tumble dryer. Designed with family life in mind, a breakfast bar has plenty of bar stool seating. Glass cabinet handles and metro tiled splashbacks are notable additions touches and a glazed rear door provides further access to the conservatory.

Working from home?

A ground floor office/bedroom supplies plenty of options for guests, teenagers and anyone working from home.

Space beneath the staircase has been cleverly converted into a charming reading snug with bench seating and storage.

Spacious bedrooms

Upstairs on the first floor you’ll find four double bedrooms including a wonderfully large main bedroom that has the added bonus of a drop down remote controlled TV. Each room has abundant space for wardrobes and desk/study areas and continues the excellent levels of presentation. A luxury family bathroom completes the layout with an inset bath that has an overhead rainfall shower, side taps and a stylish wood surround.

A substantial loft with plentiful storage space has the potential to be converted into additional bedrooms or living space (STNC).

Time to Go Outside

At the front of the property a considerable walled garden with established lawns and trees gives an inviting first impression. A landscaped path leads to the entrance porch and continues to the side of the house where you’ll find an EV charging point and a private garage within a small compound that provides the convenience of off-road parking.

To the rear the French doors of the conservatory lead out into an exceptionally well landscaped south-facing garden. This is perfect for those who love to relax and entertain in style. A curved deck patio sits next to high white washed walls.  Raised flowerbeds full of mature shrubs, a flowering Camellia and assortment of trees provide interest and colour. A broad gravelled seating area leads to a small easy-to-maintain lawn.

Last but not least a large timber framed pergola on a decked terrace has fitted bench seating wrapping around a bespoke handmade firepit. Naturally this creates a fantastic place to sit with friends on summer evenings.

A Few Words from the Owner

“When we first saw this house in 2017 it was tired and needed updating.  Since then we’ve fully updated and refurbished it with new lighting, flooring, blinds, skirting boards and pine banisters. We’ve also added Smart electronic valves to the new radiators and an EV charging point to the side of the house.

We fell in love the amount of space it has – it’s a bit of a tardis! When you look at it from the outside you don’t realise how much room there is inside. In fact it’s 50% bigger than the other properties on Mendip Crescent.  Every bedroom has space for a double bed without it feeling swamped and the loft space is cavernous.

We’ll really miss living in such a family orientated location that’s so quiet with no through traffic or noise. Children play safely in the road here and our neighbours hardly ever use the garage compound so there’s always plenty of off-road parking space.”
