“Callaways’ New Home”

We’ve moved!

On a day-to-day basis, our clients are usually the ones to say those magic words. This year we get the chance to join in.  We are also the proud owners of a brand new ‘home’. Yes, and we extend a warm welcome to Callaways’ new home!

While other agents have moved to being purely ‘online’, we think it’s important to have somewhere where sellers, buyers, landlords, tenants, and developers can come and speak to us in person.

Talking through confidential matters is always best done face-to-face wherever possible.  We know it helps us understand our client’s priorities and lets them know we’re listening.

After a temporary sojourn in offices on Church Road, we’ve now moved to a quaint mews, just around the corner.  We’re still perfectly placed for you to pop in for a chat, pick-up keys or drop off signed paperwork.

A warm welcome and a sense of history

We always say that when you find the right property you just know.  That was definitely the case for us with Wilbury Grove.

Tucked back from Wilbury Road, the Grove offers a greater sense of privacy.  It’s still only just off the high street.  It is situated within the Willet Estate conservation area and was originally called Wilbury Mews.  It dates back to the mid-1880s when the buildings were stables and liveries for the surrounding villas.  Horse-power now comes in the form of 4-wheeled engines.

Horse and Homes

Up until as recently as 2001 the original horse tunnel remained fully intact. Running along the east side, the tunnel allowed horses and equipment to be brought back and forth without disturbing the neighbouring residents.

We instantly fell in love with the peaceful setting and cobbled road. I can still sense the clippity-clop of horses back in the day.  The sense of history and heritage fits our boutique mentality. Also,  there’s a real community spirit amongst the great mix of businesses and residential homes too.

It was wonderful to receive such a nice welcome (and a bottle of fizz) from our new neighbours. As estate agents we’re used to giving people moving in gifts but it was a nice surprise to get one ourselves!

Open for business as usual

The sense of well-being our new home has to offer is already making an impression on us. Light, bright and at street level, the space provides our team with a lovely environment to work in.  Being a busy working agency – that’s important.

The delineated space includes a designated reception area which is fast becoming a home-from-home.  This space is perfect for meeting clients in a relaxed environment.
